It's not clear from Lord Kilma's memo, but this has been a defensive move in response to CVA aggression and their escalation of the dispute with U'K.
CVA + Friends moved into the system with 3-1 numbers in their favour (a bit like when they took QR, they wanted an easy wipeout). But many of us don't like the idea of a Providence without U'K. They are an essential part of the fabric and history of the region.
With the help of Ev0ke (hello Emily), BUM, Ehj Rising, Chaos Incarnate, Establishment, and a special guest appearance from Outbreak, things have evened up a little and UK have a fighting chance.
Whatever the result, I'll stand by U'K until the conclusion. Providence must remain free!

It's a defensive action. This is not some grand coalition which is going to sweep into CVA space, most of us HATE pos war with a passion. These actions are a response to CVA's, nothing more.
